A significant moment for our team, not only because of the number of awards received, but because of what they represent. The Australian Web Awards recognise digital work that meets high standards across design, development, accessibility, usability, content, performance and overall execution. It’s not just about how a website looks, but how well it works, how thoughtfully it has been built, and how effectively it serves its users.
This year, Humaan was recognised with:
Best in Show: Design

Winning Best in Show: Design for AWHWAA is a particularly meaningful achievement. We’ve had the privilege of working with the client for more than 10 years across many important projects, and this platform stands out as a vital resource for LGBTQ+ communities across the Middle East and beyond. To have work of this significance recognised at the highest level is a huge honour for everyone involved.
Of course, awards are never the primary goal. Our focus is always on our clients, their objectives, their audiences and the outcomes we’re trying to create together. Recognition like this is valuable because it validates the standards we hold ourselves to every day: thoughtful strategy, strong creative direction, robust technical execution and digital experiences that are built with care.
It’s why the Australian Web Awards are important to us. The judging process is rigorous, with work reviewed by multiple judges across a range of disciplines. Projects are assessed against best practice standards, not simply rewarded for visual appeal. For our team, that makes the recognition especially meaningful.
These wins are a testament to the trust of our clients and the craft of the Humaan team. We’re grateful to AHWAA & ERGT for the opportunity to create meaningful digital experiences with them, and incredibly proud of the people behind the work.
Congratulations to all finalists and winners. It’s always inspiring to see the strength of digital work being created across Australia.
