Crafting a series of websites

The organisation has a powerful purpose and brand, however, it was let down by its previous digital experience. Our challenge was to craft a series of websites that would share infrastructure while individually allowing them to express their brand, promote their mission and drive awareness.

Promoting an intuitive experience

We created an extensive design system for the project that would support a highly engaging and emotive experience, while also allowing a highly modular approach to content management. The result is one that allows for highly bespoke content curation throughout the website, encourages ease of access and readability, promotes an intuitive experience and delivers an emotional experience alongside the rich content available.

User Experience

The depth of the content is extensive. Creating an experience that would be intuitive and simple was key to the overall success of the project, promoting simple user journeys and key call to actions within each.


The websites feature a long list of complex technical achievements and integrations. Across the duration of the project, we launched 8 websites with a modular design system that supports an integrated content management system with custom editorial rights.


Being a not-for-profit organisation, donations are a key funding mechanism and were core to the success of the project. Working through our discovery and definition process, we mapped out a clear user journey for donors, which would both encourage donations and facilitate ease of use. The donation journey was custom built for the needs of the website and audience, including extensive integrations and additional features (appeals, donation matching, targets etc).
