Powerful digital storytelling
A custom interactive map serves as a highly bespoke navigation device that provides the narrative backbone and harnesses a depth of historical content.
Bringing history to life
We designed and developed a set of animated illustrations in the How It Works section to explain the ground-breaking engineering that underpins the Golden Pipeline.
Words on a page often fail to express the remarkable qualities of past accomplishments. But through colour, motion and interaction, we aimed to offer visitors a richer historical experience with a depth not achievable in print.

Going with the flow
Accessible and fully responsive, the site was designed for both would-be travellers and tourists already on the road. When exploring the Golden Pipeline story, the site automatically reorients the map to offer location context and the opportunity to discover nearby areas of interest.

Journey planner
A custom journey planner lets visitors choose their own adventure along the trail, easily adding stops to their journey as they explore the site. This also creates a personalised and printable itinerary to take on the road.
