Making it digital

With a rich history and a dedication to their craft, it was essential that the new website not only featured the beautiful end products but instilled the spirit of the company. Together, we explored a presence that would offer users an immersive experience and discovery of the brand while supporting a considered journey through products and collections.

The result is a website formed of three key parts – Products, Brand and World.

A beautifully functional product experience

Core to the success of the website, it was essential to craft a product experience that would rival that of a showroom. While Collections would tell a unique story for the origin of each product series, the product exploration itself would need to be intuitive, simple and beautiful. Inspired by customer research and a series of prototypes, we created a platform that would allow the products to come to life in a 3D space within the browser, while also allowing the user to view products in any of the different finishes offered for the product in real-time.

Meticulous expression of the brand

With a clear brand promise and depth of content, each unique page of the Sussex story was designed and built to reflect and support the content. From sustainability, to the purpose of the company and the people, every aspect was considered to immerse the user in the spirit and vision of the company and provide a deep exploration of the brand’s DNA.

“Jay and the team at Humaan are true professionals, masters in their field,  with meticulous attention to detail. With our dream website complete, we have an asset that can evolve with us for many years to come. Thank you amazing Humaans!”

World of Sussex

With a canvas of content, World would encourage exploration through a stories, interviews and case studies. While it was important to fit the experience, a blog wasn’t going to cut it. World would offer a stream of connected content, and this led us to a near infinite canvas that would offer delight and encourage exploration amongst visitors.
