A new beginning
The Rottnest Island website attracts a diverse audience that hails from far and wide. Recognising the limitations of “one size fits all”, we proposed a new strategy: a pair of websites, each catering to a specific audience’s needs.

Both sites would offer each audience segment a wealth of engaging content and tools relevant to their needs.

An island destination
The destination website promotes Rottnest Island attractions to holiday makers, maintaining a colourful and fun web experience across all devices, with easy access to information and a bounty of booking options.
It features a clear navigation, directing visitors to all the island has to offer, with all pages accessible and optimised across every device.
The Plan Your Stay feature provides an interactive trip planner and a unique way for holidaymakers to envision their stay on the island.
To promote the positivity and diversity of visitors’ experiences, we custom-built a social media aggregation module that drew testimonials from Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and TripAdvisor.

Colourful and highly visual, Rottnest Island’s digital presence is an invitation to one and all to engage with the destination and brand. The final product was created in collaboration with development agency Phobos Consulting.
