7travel is a dedicated travel website, owned and operated by Seven West Media. Following a strategic departure from ad-supported publishing, the media company sought a reimagined online experience to support their new eCommerce initiatives.

Elegance, simplicity, genuine engagement

Key to this project was a strategic approach to site structure, aesthetic and communication that actively engaged a broad audience. The design seeks to drive conversion by providing a consistent and clear online experience that leads into an easy registration process.

Optimised for the modern audience

7travel sees radical changes between responsive desktop and mobile states. This deliberate shift in content priority and presentation offers users a solid narrative with respect to the available screen space and tactile experience across different devices.

Business complexities made simple

Under the hood, the site’s simple UI is underpinned by a sophisticated web of business rules. These rules govern content delivery, visual presentation and responsive behaviour based on what each travel package offers. Our priority was to ensure an elegant experience for the user, showing them only what they need to know when they need to know it.

“Humaan are an exceptional development team that have been absolute pleasure to work with. Not only are they always accommodating and professional but they will always find a solution to any problem that arises.”

Smooth sailing

Travel packages feature clearly and widely across the site, integrated with rich content offering visitors a seamless handover from the television, radio and printed media that led them here.
